He arrives only to discover that he must first battle Tina Turner for dominion over the one and only stage left in the entertainment ghost town. With the assistance of Russ Meyer, Roger Ebert, and a host of all-girl rock bands, Max succeeds in his fight and saves a bunch of orphaned children while he's at it.

Under Construction... Literally

As some of you already know, we're remodeling My Left Footloose Headquarters. A rumor has circulated on the internet that this remodel centers around outfitting the building to withstand a zombie siege. For obvious security reasons, we are unable to comment on this rumor. However, we can tell you that construction proceeds now at an encouraging pace and we're receiving shipments of 50-gallon drums and sandbags almost daily now.  

We have entered a new phase of alarmingly-paced construction which will necessitate a change in our standard operating procedure. Because during the next few days our access to technological innovations like electricity and running water may be spotty, we'll be taking a break from posting movie title mash-ups beginning Thursday, September 18. However, this is only a break. (Fear not!) 

We will return to posting mash-ups on October 1. Until that time, please enjoy browsing our archive of over 500 brilliant mash-ups. Also feel free to comment on what you see and to submit new mash-ups.

Thursday Three-Way Destroys The World... On a Wednesday

In celebration of the the first full beam through the Large Hadron Collider near Geneva, Switzerland, which is believed by a small number of people to be capable of generating a Universe-destroying quantum event, we're mashing our way into the glorious world of eschatology... that is, if the world doesn't end first. 

Thursday Three-Way returns tomorrow at its regularly scheduled time for an entirely new and unrelated orgy of cinema-blender-ness. Again, see above re: world not ending.
