Pete (Edward Norton) has grown up to become a profiler in the FBI's Behavioral Sciences unit. Charged with investigating a series of bizarre ritual murders, he comes to suspect that they are the work of his childhood companion, Elliott the Dragon (voiced by Ralph Fiennes), who has acquired a taste for William Blake. Reasoning that it takes a monster to catch a monster, Pete consults with infamous incarcerated serial-killer psychopath Dr. Hannibal Lecter (Mickey Rooney).
